Grandma & Grandpa ~ We miss you!

My grandma and Grandpa Moore are on a mission at Martins Cove in Wyoming! They are enjoying themselves so much! I am so proud of them and thankful for their example. I admire and look up to them so much! I also miss them a ton! I am putting a coutdown on my blog until the day they get back, because I cannot wait!
We went and visited them last summer. It was James and mine first long trip. We were gone a week and a half. We drove straight to Wyoming with one hotel stop with my family. We arrived in Wyoming and were able to get a private tour with grandma and grandpa of Martins Cove. It was so good to see them and spend time with them. Here are some pictures!

First Grandma and Grandpa showed us the spot where Hope would be baptized in 2 days. It was a beautiful spot by the Sweet Water River. All the missionaries are allowed to have their grandchildren come up and be baptized in the sweetwater. So they had a nice spot with benches made for everyone who came.

Next Grandma and Grandpa took us on a tour in the rovers. We went all over the place. We saw the many different trails, and the real trail. We got to see all the spots around Martins cove. It was beautiful. It was wonderful to feel the spirit there too! There were some beautiful statues and dedicated sites. Grandma and Grandpa told us many stories. It was fun to see all that they had learned and what they did as missionaries at every different site.

There was this well we got to pump water from. The girls had lots of fun doing that.

Grandpa could not stop pointing out all the antelope. So I had to take some pictures.
They also took us through the visitors center and gave us a private tour. :) It was an experience we will never forget. Grandma had so many stories to tell us. We loved it!

Heidi and Hope pretending to pull the handcart.

Here Heidi is pointing out what trail we took. We took the blue trail down from the visitors center then turned onto the red trail and up through the green trail to walk through martins cove. While we were there the missionaries told us stories. It was fun to pull handcarts with Grandma and Grandpa.

We also went to Independece Rock! WOW~it was cool to see all the names on the rock. We had a blast.
The next day was Hopes Baptism. All the rest of the family had arrived the night before. It was so beautiful. Hope asked me to give the talk on the holy ghost. It was my first time doing a talk at a baptism. It was scary, but a good experience. Hope was beautiful!

Thanks grandma and grandpa! We had a blast. We can't wait to see you in October.
